🌈Omi-cho Market Sushi is a popular and well-reputed sushi restaurant in Omi-cho Market, and it is also one of the must-eat foods we locked in on this trip to Kanazawa.
🌿The environment is really average, and the bar is still a bit cramped, especially in winter, when you can only hang your coat behind the chair. Fortunately, it was close to 1pm when we went, so we didn't have to queue up to eat.
🍽There are five price levels for freshly made sushi, 130, 230, 290, 350, and 420 yen, and there are several kinds of sushi platters. In addition to sushi, there are also various seafood rice. Personally, I suggest that you can take a look at the recommendations of the day after entering the store.
🌸We ordered the white shrimp sushi and gray shrimp sushi recommended by the store. The taste is okay, but it is not amazing, not as good as the peony shrimp sushi. The sea urchin sushi is average, far worse than the horse manure sea urchin eaten in Hokkaido. The crab rice is pretty good, with a full layer of crab meat and fish roe, which is very satisfying to eat, and the fish roe is very fresh.
⭐️Personally, I think this restaurant doesn't have a queue, so you can try it. The taste is not bad, but it is not excellent among the sushi restaurants of the same price that I have eaten in Japan.
